FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves a hydrolysis process using a cluster-type acid catalyst in a pseudo-dissolved condition for hydrolysis of cellulose contained in a fibrous vegetal raw material and production of glucose. In the process of hydrolysis the cluster-type acid catalyst and the first quantity of the fibrous vegetal raw material (that enhances viscosity of the cluster-type acid catalyst in a pseudo-dissolved condition when added to the cluster-type acid catalyst in a pseudo-dissolved condition) are heated and mixed; then the second quantity of the fibrous vegetal raw material is added when reduction of viscosity of the hot mixture of the cluster-type acid catalyst and the first quantity of the fibrous vegetal raw material takes place. The cluster-type acid catalyst is represented by homopoly acids or heteropoly acids.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the treated fibrous vegetal raw material quantity per the cluster-type acid catalyst weight unit.
