SUBSTANCE: washing machine comprises a body and a tank, in which on supports with the possibility of rotation, the drum is placed, the suspension system, consisting of elastic elements and vibration absorbers - dampers, a device for determining the frequency of rotation of the drum during the spin cycle, the device to perform logic, and computational operations. The machine is also equipped with a flat spiral spring enclosed in a flat spiral spring casing with annular braking device. The working surface of the braking device is interfaced with the cylindrical surface of the body of a flat spiral spring, controlled by an electromagnetic drive of the braking system. The machine is also equipped with an intermediate shaft, fixed with one end to the internal coils of flat spiral spring, and with the other - to drive of rotation of the drum, a fixed solenoid with a movable spring-loaded anchor. The movable spring-loaded anchor mates with the intermediate shaft through the splined connection. End of the movable anchor facing the housing of flat spiral spring has flange protrusion mating with cuts made on the lateral surface of the housing of flat spiral spring facing the movable anchor. The intermediate shaft is provided with a ball support.

EFFECT: reduced vibration during the spin cycle in the washing machine of drum type and an increase of the total operational life of the washing machine.
