FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: communication between a first and a second station takes place by transmitting signal encoding parameters associated with an audio signal. The audio signal is classified in order to determine whether the signal encoding parameters should be transmitted from one station to another using a first communication mode, in which the full transmission speed is used to transmit the signal encoding parameters. If the audio signal classification determines that the signal encoding parameters should be transmitted using the first communication mode and if a request for transmitting the signal encoding parameters from one station to another using a second communication mode intended for decreasing the transmission speed during transmission of signal encoding parameters, part of the signal encoding parameters is deleted from one station, while the remaining signal encoding parameters are transmitted to the other station using the second communication mode. The deleted part of the signal encoding parameters is recovered before the other station decodes the signal encoding parameters.
EFFECT: high reliability of transmission.
