FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to carrying and lifting machine building, in particular to front-end tools. Front-end tool contains plate with tensioner installed on it and gripping arms with angle seats fixed at two sides using axles; crosshead; inner pads and elastic bindings with cramps; sealing plungers installed between inner pads and cramps. Sealing plungers are connected with crosshead by cables; inner pads and elastic bindings are fixed on angle seats. Elastic binding tensioner is located between plates rigidly mounted at plate sides and consists of cylindrical sectors with levers and ratchet wheels mounted on them. Ratchet wheels interacts with seats rigidly mounted on double-arm levers which are pressed to ratchet wheels via springs. Elastic binding tensioning and plunger drawing takes place when crosshead is lifted.
EFFECT: improvement of packet integrity during transportation due to its compacting during loading.
