FIELD: textiles, paper.

SUBSTANCE: method involves treating with aqueous solution of 15-23 g/l of tanning extract and 150-250 g/l borax and boric acid at a ratio, respectively (2-1): 1; drying, impregnation with an aqueous solution containing 40-45 g/l copper sulphate, 18-20 g/l of potassium dichromate and additional 40-60 g/l compounds of magnesium and/or zinc and/or tin, based on the metal oxide, which are used as chlorides of magnesium, zinc, tin, or magnesium and tin sulfates, washing, treatment with aqueous water solution containing 200-350 g/l of chlorinated paraffin with chlorine content of at least 62%, 40-100 g/l stearic and/or oleic acid, 40-70 g/l triethanolamine, 60-100 g/l of gelatin or casein, or carpentry or hide glue and final impregnation with an aqueous solution of aluminium or zirconium acetate and 30-60 g/l of zinc acetate and/or tin, based on metal oxide.

EFFECT: giving the tissue flammability while maintaining high bioprotective and water-resistant properties.
