FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for formation of tobacco cores fit for production of tobacco products with at least one closed end wherein one ensures creation of endless strip of tobacco, forms interspaces without tobacco in the said strip (the interspaces positioned at equal intervals along the strip), envelopes the strip into paper wrapper of infinite length, divides the enveloped strip into tobacco cores by way of cutting through the paper wrapper at the spots where the wrapper overlaps the said interspaces.
EFFECT: ensuring tobacco cores cutting with paper projecting outside the edge.
