FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in grinding machines. Proposed machine comprises encased drive with its drive shaft driving via eccentric support the grinding disc wheel bearing shaft. It incorporates friction brake, friction brake element arranged on the casing and friction surface arranged on disc grinding wheel. Said friction surface is inclined along the line extending from center to periphery relative to horizontal plane perpendicular to rotational axis of said grinding wheel. Said friction element is shaped to friction ring. Friction surface friction surface is arranged on friction element made separate from grinding wheel, coupled therewith and made from material other than that of wheel. Friction tapered surface terminates in radial indent from grinding wheel outer edge. Friction surface taper angle (α) relative to horizon makes at least 5 degrees.
EFFECT: braking in idling.
