FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: pump is used to inject fracturing fluid into well. In injection, fracturing fluid flow rate is gradually increased. Simultaneously, pump consumed power is continuously measured. Intermittent variation in pump consumed power is used to define transition to fluid turbulent flow in well to control flow conditions by adjusting fracturing fluid flow rate.
EFFECT: control over fracturing fluid flow conditions in fracturing in real time, increased influx of hydrocarbons.
