FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method to erect low-depth and surface foundations lined with permafrost or rocky soils includes tamping of a pit in the layer of seasonal thawing and freezing with formation of the compacted area in thawed soils around the pit and underneath, and arrangement of a foundation unit in the tamped pit, besides, the expanded base of the foundation unit is developed by tamping of the non-heaving rigid soil material into the lower part of the tamped pit in separate portions. At first the tamping is carried out by means of tamping having needle-shaped elements with length slightly below the depth of the thawed layer, then the non-heaving rigid soil material is filled into produced cavities.
EFFECT: provides for a reliable base for foundations, provision of a high-quality expanded base for a foundation unit.
