SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machinery industry and can be used in flax combines. Device for combing flax comprises clamping conveyor, a chamber with inlet and outlet ports, a stripping cylinder, and a conveyor for removal piles from the chamber. The stripping cylinder is mounted in the chamber and has a spiral with plates between its turns which is fixed on its surface. The plates are made with slots with a width from smaller than the helix pitch distance to the size smaller than the diameter of a flax ball.

EFFECT: device provides separation of flax balls from the stems with less energy consumption and without damaging the stems.
