SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, reflex diagnostics. A technique involves measuring electrocutaneous resistance (ECR) with the use of Nakatani's method. The following points are measured: heart meridian - C7, pericardium meridian - MC7, lung meridian - P9, large intestine meridian - G15, three warmer meridian - TR4, small intestine meridian - IG4, pancreas meridian - RP3, liver meridian - F3, kidney meridian - R3, bladder meridian - V65, gall bladder meridian - VB40, stomach meridian - E42. The measurement results are presented in the table. The ECR asymmetry is calculated by formula: wherein n is a number of acupuncture meridian points; Dn is the measurement result of acupuncture point conductivity; Pn is the asymmetry of electrocutaneous resistance in percentage. The asymmetry not less than 40% testifies to the presence of a viral infection in a patient's body.

EFFECT: technique is easy to implement and causes no complications.
