FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to heat-power engineering and can be used in heat supply systems to improve their reliability. Heat supply method is described, as per which the main heat load of centralised heat supply system is covered with basic heat source, and namely with system water heaters of extraction turbines of combined heat and power plants; peak heat load is covered with independent heat source connected to supply and return pipelines of local heat supply system of the user, which is connected via supply and return pipelines to supply and return delivery lines of centralised heat supply system. Peculiar feature of the proposed heat supply method consists in the fact that when delivery water temperature or pressure is decreased in supply line of the centralised heat supply system, which is controlled with temperature sensor and pressure sensor, below the specified values, independent heat source is used as basic heat source; for that purpose, local heat supply system of the user is isolated from supply and return delivery lines of the centralised heat supply system with shutoff elements, and circulation of delivery water is performed through independent heat source and local heat supply system by means of a circulating pump.
