FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measurement equipment and may be used in experimental physics, and also in other areas of science and equipment in measurement of time intervals with the help of double-count measurement devices, i.e. devices comprising an interpolator. The interpolator of direct coding for measurement of time intervals, comprising a set of triggers TR of D-type, a non-inverse delay element DLY of a logical signal, two double-input non-inverse elements are introduced for logical summation OR1 and OR2, besides, one input of the first non-inverse element of logical summation OR1 and an input of the non-inverse element of delay of a logical signal DLY are combined and are the first input of an interpolator for connection of an external source of a signal of an interpolated interval of time of positive polarity, and an output of an non-inverse element of delay DLY of a logical signal is connected with the other input of the first non-inverse element of logical summation OR1 and interrelated two inputs of the second non-inverse element of logical summation OR2, the output of which is connected with a C-input of the first trigger TR1 of D-type. At the same time all triggers TR of D-type are serially connected with a direct output of each previous trigger with a C-input of the following trigger, D-inputs of all above triggers are combined with each other and are connected with an output of the first non-inverse element of logical summation OR1, PR-inputs of pre-installation of above triggers are combined to each other and are connected with a source of supply Vcc, and CLR-inputs of the initial condition of above triggers are combined and form the second input of the interpolator for connection of the external source of a CLR-signal of the negative polarity, direct outputs of above triggers form appropriate outputs OUT of the TR interpolator.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of time interval measurement.
