FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of training sniffer dogs. Simulator of crack smell contains an inert carrier, on the surface of which the odor substance is applied. A mixture is used as the odor substance, which contains (wt %): baking soda - 0.01 to 10, food starch from 0.01 to 10, niobe oil - the rest. Preferably the content of the odor substance is not more than 10% by weight of the inert carrier. Microcrystalline cellulose, silica gel, activated carbon, aluminium oxide, and other carriers having a finely porous structure can be used as an inert carrier.
EFFECT: invention enables to provide the possibility of sustainable memorisation by the dog of smell of crack for works of search for forbidden narcotic substances, in particular crack.
