FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in chemical industry. An aluminium-containing additive is added to wet-process phosphoric acid while stirring. The precipitate is separated from the obtained suspension. The additive used is a nepheline concentrate in stoichiometric amount of 110-150%. Stirring is carried out at temperature 30-80°C for 30-60 minutes.
EFFECT: invention enables to defluorinate phosphoric acid using a simple and cheap method without evaporation and prevents release of fluorine into the gaseous phase.
