FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of construction articles and composition of environmentally safe glaze for application on ceramic tiles. The tile glaze is obtained using a composition containing the following components, pts.wt: clay 10-20, bentonite 3-10, table salt 5-15 and polymetallic ore beneficiation wastes 60-80. The polymetallic ore beneficiation wastes are powdered material mainly of aluminosilicate composition.
EFFECT: reducing water adsorption of ceramic crock due to forming waterproof glass-lined glased coating on the tile surface at burning.
