FIELD: printing industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a fiduciary or similar document such as a banknote, a passport, an ID. A document comprises a substrate, onto which protective printed elements are applied. The specified protective printed elements contain the first pattern made by printing with the help of the first dye in the form of a laced or non-laced flat section. At least one second image, not identical to the first one, made by printing with the help of the second dye in the form of lines and/or at least one flat section. One of two patterns at least partially covers the other pattern. Also printed elements include gravure printing, which covers at least the area, which is common for the specified first and second patterns. At the same time the pattern of largest area is visible, and the other pattern is at least partially invisible with the naked eye under natural or artificial lighting in case of mirror reflection, besides, the specified other pattern becomes fully visible with the naked eye under natural or artificial lighting from a source of scattered light.

EFFECT: invention provides for higher level of document protection against counterfeit, with simple design.
