SUBSTANCE: invention describers a centrifugal dryer (400), comprising a drum (440, 440A, 440B), inside of which linen is placed, and a driving unit (430) to rotate the drum (440, 440A, 440B). The inner surface (443) of the drum wall comprises an area (452) of drainage, in which a section (453) is formed for draining water from linen and a ribbed section (450), which protrudes inside the drum (440, 440A, 440B). The ribbed section (450) comprises the first main rib (451a), stretching in the first direction along the drainage area (452), the second main rib (45lb), stretching in the first direction, so that the drainage area (452) is between the first and second main ribs (451a, 451b), and an auxiliary ribbed section (455), comprising a lower end (456, 458), connected to at least one of the first and second main ribs (451a, 451b), an auxiliary ribbed section (455) comprises an upper end (457, 459), connected to the drainage area (452).
