FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for surveying excavation sections consists of a vertical post, a plate, an optical sighting device mounted in the top part of the plate perpendicular to its vertical axis, as well as a circular level, wherein the vertical post is provided with a ball-and-socket hinge consisting of a ball end and a housing provided with a clamp, the ball end is connected to a support on which there is a mounting cup and a ferrule with possibility of turning about the axis of the support, wherein on one side of the mounting cup, parallel to its axis, there is a plate with a circular angle measuring scale at the centre of which a bolt is used to mount a laser range-finder with an arrow which can turn about the axis of the bolt, and on the other side of the mounting cup, perpendicular to its axis and the plane of the circular angle measuring scale, there is an angle measuring scale with ±90° marks, provided with a circular level and an arrow mounted on the ferrule, wherein the axes of the optical sighting device, the circular angle measuring scale, the mounting cup, the support and the angle measuring scale are superimposed on one line, wherein a laser range finder can be mounted as the sighting device.
EFFECT: orientation of the apparatus on the excavation section, measuring dimensions of the excavation section.
