FIELD: mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: wiper brush is used together with connecting member. Connecting member (36) contains female seating portion (50) for support rod (26) fixed on the brush, one resiliently yielding tongue (46) for retaining the support rod (26) in the seating portion (50) and one support surface (60) for resting on hook-shaped end (28) of wiper brush lever. Female support portion (50) is not closed on half of its perimetre. Resilient tongue has fixing protrusion (48) comparting hole of female seating portion (50) and is made capable to be resiliently bent towards the mentioned support surface (60). Distance between support surface (60) and resilient tongue (48) is such that hook-shaped end (28) of wiper brush lever in assembled condition does not allow the resilient tongue (46) to be resiliently bent towards support surface (60) because the resilient tongue (46) thrusts against the hook-shaped end (28). On the brush binding element, latching on it a cap is put which has hole permitting to turn through it the connecting member (36) in its assembled condition into raised position.

EFFECT: simplification of installation and reliability of attachment of connecting member on support rod.
