FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: pylon 12 may be secured to engine housing 10 by its one end and to wing by its opposite end. Pylon includes, at least, one hinge and one means for varying engine position in height in takeoff-landing and cruising flight. Pylon consists of two parts, one to be secured to engine and another one to aircraft wing. Said hinge comprises bulging quadrangle having two links 42 with ends arranged around transverse horizontal axles 34, 36, 38, 40 on said two parts of the pylon. Links 42 may have equal or different length. Pylon parts may be interconnected by either hydraulic or electric power drive.
EFFECT: higher efficiency in cruising flight.
