SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and particularly to methods and devices for detecting broadband signals in radio communication systems, and can be used in receivers of radio electronic communication systems using phase-shift keyed signals. The technical result is achieved using a method of detecting a phase-shift keyed broadband signal, involving reception of an input signal with subsequent integration, comparison of the obtained signal with a threshold level and determining presence or absence of a signal at the input of the detector. Before integration, the received signal is inverted and switched in order to remove broadband modulation. The device for detecting broadband signals has a signal sample generator, a maximum signal detector, a control unit, wherein the input of the signal sample generator is connected to the output of the control unit, the input of the control unit is connected to the output of the maximum signal detector.
EFFECT: reduced loss associated with signal multiplication in correlators.
