FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary, in particular to technologies of preventing horn growth in different farm animals. Paste for preventing horn growth contains, wt %: sodium hydroxide 1.0-90.0, water 1.0-50.0, diatomite 5.0-10.0. As diatomite it can contain celite, for instance celite 545, or chromatone, or inerton, or chromosorb. Paste can additionally contain a dye in amount 0.01-1.0 wt %.
EFFECT: application of claimed invention will make it possible to prevent horn growth.
