SUBSTANCE: invention relates to structural materials and specifically to the technology of producing efficient heat insulation materials. The slag-based foamed glass contains the following in wt %: thermal power plant slag 60-70, borax 10-20, graphite 1-5, scrap glass 15-25.
EFFECT: low foaming temperature, low cost of production, simple technology of production, wider raw material base, recycling thermal power plant wastes.
