FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: refrigeration system comprises refrigeration cycle circuit incorporating compressor, first expander, medium pressure reservoir, second expander, evaporator and coolant circulation pipelines. Coolant is expanded in first expander to medium pressure. Coolant first pipeline communicates compressor with gas cooler, while second pipeline communicates gas coolant with first expander. Coolant first pipeline, gas cooler and second coolant pipeline make supercritical mode section of refrigeration cycle. Additionally, refrigeration system comprises overheating decrease unit communicated via heat exchange with, at least, part of coolant second pipeline to decrease coolant overheating. At least two fans are equipped with gas coolers. Preset decrease in coolant overheating is adjusted by switching fans and aforesaid overheating decrease unit. Invention covers also the method of cold generation.
