FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: test bench comprises motor, rocker mechanism, frame, flywheel, guides, supports, shafts, tanks, tubes, rpm counter, and rocker mechanism. The latter comprises two pairs of levers, support, spring, and prisms. One pair of levers is secured to support by one ends and, by other ends, to prisms. Second pair of levers is also secured to prisms by its one ends. Said pairs are articulated. Guides are secured at frame front. Slide is arranged between guides. Slide bottom is hinged on levers to displace in guide slots by its sides. Supports with shafts, tanks, tubes fitted in their openings are mounted on the left and right of the frame. One ends of the tubes are connected to bottom of tanks while their opposite ends are connected to ends of shafts. Motor is arranged at frame to. Flywheel is fitted on motor shaft. Crank one end is secured to flywheel while crank opposite end is secured to slide.
EFFECT: possibility to test specimens at dry friction, smooth radial load and specimen turn angle.
