FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of gas from impurities, mainly, various fluids and may be used in gas processing in oil-and-gas, petrochemical, chemical and other industries. Proposed separator comprises casing with contaminated gas inlet branch pipe, cleaned gas discharge branch pipe and fluid discharge branch pipe. Every centrifugal separation element of filtration section comprises coalescing cartridge arranged aligned above said centrifugal element to communicate with drain manifold arranged above filtration section. Said coalescing cartridge is composed of perforated carcass with alternating drain coalescing layers of nonwoven material arranged on its side surface and secured from outside by gauze. Flushing section is arranged above filtration section to comprise trays with straight-flow centrifugal separation elements. Bottom tray is filled with flushing fluid. Every separation element of bottom tray is composed of cylindrical shell above edge of which separated fluid trap is arranged while shell bottom accommodates vanes swirler of gas flow. Arched cutouts are made on swirler vanes bulged inside and directed in direction of swirling that are located below flushing fluid level on tray.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation.
