FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of silicates, specifically to porcelain mixtures which can be used in making articles for decorative and art purposes, as well as general purposes. The porcelain mixture contains the following, wt %: kaolin 34.0-38.0; feldspar 14.0-16.0; quartz 14.0-16.0; bone ash 14.0-16.0; zinc oxide 3.0-4.0; quartz glass 14.0-16.0. Articles made from said porcelain mixture have bending strength of not less than 45 MPa. First firing of the articles is carried out at temperature of 1350°C and second (glaze) firing is carried out at 1250°C.

EFFECT: high strength of articles.
