FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: tile glaze contains the following, pts.wt: clay 6-8; quartz sand 48-54; chalk 6-8; yellow lead 6-8; iron oxide 6-8; pyrolusite 6-8; borax 6-8; zircon 6-8. The glaze has hydrolytic class II water resistance. The glaze is fired at temperature of 1000-1150°C.
EFFECT: high water resistance of the glaze.
