FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to loose material crushing and sizing. Loose material grinder comprises two grinding taper opposite-rotation discs fitted on electric drive hollow shafts. Raw stock is fed via inner bore of shafts into grinding area bounded by dynamic annular slot. Electric drives are mounted on moving platforms, their linear thermal expansion compensating for slot convergence due to linear expansion of disc-shaft system. Said electric drives are mounted on platforms fixed in cantilever. Said platforms feature thermal expansion in direction opposite that of discs fitted on drive shafts. Platform material is selected to allow aforesaid compensation for slot convergence due to linear expansion of disc-shaft system.
EFFECT: invariable width of annular dynamic slot.
