FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering. Proposed propulsor comprises housing, drive shaft, and vertical shafts. Propulsor rectangular housing accommodates two identical lifting elements arranged one above another. Every said lifting element comprises rectangular box arranged with its open part directed upward. Several pairs of hollow cylindrical drums running in bearings parallel with each other are fitted at top section of said box. In a pair, drums are arranged aligned one after another. The number of drums is not limited. Gear is fitted on shaft of every drum. Idle gears are fitted between said gears, each being engaged with two gears of adjacent drums. Distance between drums makes 0.3-0.5 mm. Bevel gears and drum vertical shafts of lower lifting elements are engaged with drums of upper lifting elements. Drums of one lifting elements run in one direction. Porous elastic and wear-resistant pad is fitted inside aforesaid boxes to get in contact with drum lower surfaces and box bottom.
EFFECT: higher operating performances.
