SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry, agriculture and forestry and can be used, for example, for urban and agricultural purposes for mulching soil, to compositions for mulching different types of soil, lawn and parking areas. The mulching composition contains, wt %: lignosulphonate 0.1-0.4, carbamide 0.2-0.6, Na-carboxymethyl cellulose 0.3-0.4, potassium chloride 1-3, water - the balance. The composition (versions thereof) contains natural plant additives in form of Bryopsida moss and Pinus koraiensis pine needles with different content of said plant additives.
