FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: method for electrical energy transmission consists in development of resonant oscillations from a frequency converter in a circuit comprising two resonant circuits, two high-frequency transformers and a single-wire line between them, and transmission of resonant oscillations from a resonant circuit of the first high-frequency transformer to the resonant circuit of the second high-frequency transformer along a single-wire electric line insulated from ground, conversion of high frequency current into DC and then in an inverter into AC of industrial frequency. Electrical energy is transmitted symmetrically along a single-wire line in both directions by development of resonant oscillations from a converter-inverter at each side of the line, conversion of high-frequency current into DC and then into AC of industrial currency in a converter-inverter at each side of the single-wire line. The frequency converter is used as an inverter when receiving electrical energy, and the inverter is used as a frequency converter when transferring electrical energy.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of energy transmission, increased length of transmission lines and possibility to transfer power along a single-wire line in two directions between two power systems, which reduces losses in process of electrical energy transfer to stationary and mobile loads and electrical vehicles, and provides for the possibility of energy recuperation and its return into a grid when braking an electrical vehicle.
