FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to concentration of loose ore and nonmetal materials and may be used for separation of asbestos ore. Proposed method comprises material sheeting, feeding it in separation zone, affecting it by airflow, producing fan of material particles, feeding fan of particles on drum lateral surface, and discharging separated products. Material sheeting id carried out on surface formed by product with higher friction factor. Airflow is formed on drum side surfaces and fed to center of said side surface.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation, reduced air consumption.
