FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: rotor consists of front and rear independent parts. Each rotor part is mounted in stator on radial-thrust and radial bearings. Rotor parts are connected to each other with the possibility of relative axial movement. External bearing rings are located in stator and internal rings are fixed on rotor parts' shafts. Axial forces adjustment device contains tensor rings electrically connected to control unit. Tensor rings are located between end faces of external rings of radial-thrust bearings of both rotor parts and stator from opposite sides of attachment to external rings of axial forces. Between tensor ring of radial-thrust bearing of rotor front part and stator there is a flexible ring additionally mounted.
EFFECT: method to reduce effect of axial force on radial-thrust bearing of front part of composite rotor of turbine machine via redistribution of excessive force on radial-thrust bearing of rotor rear part by specified law.
