FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: rotor balancing device includes annular balancing chambers fully filled with solidifying material having the ability of being molten at the support heating and solidified due to natural heat removal as a result of heat exchange between support and environment when there is no rotor vibration. Balancing shaft has ball-shaped bosses at attachment points, and balancing chambers are made in the form of a cylindrical capacity with a piston, the position of which relative to the capacity is set and fixed during the balancing process. Balancing chambers are installed inside the rotor; balancing shaft is installed on them; at that, balancing chambers together with balancing shaft are capable of being offset relative to internal surface of rotor in the direction of its rotation axis.
EFFECT: improving the quality of processed parts.
