SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the garment industry. The proposed method of processing is used in the manufacture of belt products, predominantly classic trousers. The essence of the invention consists in a method of manufacturing the upper edge of the belt product, consisting of cutting out the belt of the parts, processing of non-slash pocket in the side seam according to the technology, with further manufacturing of the belt product according to the technology. On the inner lining of the pocket the vertical section of not more than 50 mm is pre-processed and located at a distance of at least 50 mm from the upper point of the entrance line to the pocket towards the middle of the front part, the rear part of the belt is connected to the rear part of the product, with the cut-off side part of the belt product, single cut with the inner lining of the pocket to the section, forming further the free projecting end of the rear part of the belt product with size of at least 50 mm and textile braid with loops, with the length enough for possible adjustment of the belt volume in at least three positions, preliminary stitched on the front end of the rear part of the belt, including the free projecting end. And the front part of the belt is connected to the front part of the belt product including the outer lining of the pocket, the cut-off side part of the belt product, single cut with the inner lining of the pocket, to the section, and further from the section to the upper point of the entrance line to the pocket, with the hooks fastened on the front end.

EFFECT: simplified method of manufacturing the upper edge of the belt product.
