SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a soother. A soother comprising a balloon holder (1) and a hollow soother balloon (2) extending from the balloon holder (1) and being oval at least on one axial section in a cross-section from the outside. The soother balloon (2) at least on two opposite longitudinal sides crossed by a greater axis (8) of the oval limiting the cross-section of the soother balloon (2) from the outside comprises regions with a lesser thickness of the wall (10, 11). The balloon (2) in the cross-section from the outside has a radius of curvature characterised by the fact that the soother balloon (2) in the regions with a lesser thickness of the wall has an angle.
EFFECT: simplified soother design.
