FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: according to the method of water-flooded oil deposit development, low-viscous thermotropic gel-forming composition in volume not less than 25 m3 containing aluminium salines, carbamide, surface-active substance and water is pumped into injection wells, it penetrates deeply in formation and forms sediment selectively in water-saturated formation zones; before and after it, shielding buffer margin is pumped in quantity from 10 to 100% from volume of low-viscous thermotropic gel-forming composition, and to obtain low-viscous thermotropic gel-forming composition insulating compound VIS-1 and water are used, the composition contains wt %: insulating compound VIS-1 5.0 - 30.0, fresh or salt water - the rest of composition; and shielding buffer margin is water polymeric solution with the following composition, wt %: high-molecular partially hydrolysed poly acrylamide 0.1 - 0.5, fresh water - the rest of composition.

EFFECT: preventing dilution of the specified gel-forming composition by brine and pumped water.
