FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: multitier safety clutch includes a housing in the form of two semi-clutches, each of which includes installation and coupling parts. Installation part of each semi-clutch is made in the form of a cylinder, one end face of which is connected to its coupling part made in the form of coaxial cylinders coaxial to the cylinder of installation part. Besides, cylinder of larger diameter of coupling part of each semi-clutch encloses with a gap the corresponding cylinder of smaller diameter of coupling part of the other semi-clutch, and coupling elements representing floating keys are installed in each of the gaps between cylinders of coupling parts of semi-clutches.
EFFECT: increasing the transmitted torque.
