FLEXIBLE EXTENSIVE HYDROACOUSTIC ANTENNA (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC G01S15/00

Abstract RU 2475773 C1

FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: flexible extensive hydroacoustic antenna comprises a power element, a power and communication cable, sensitive elements and electronic units arranged with a certain interval along the antenna, besides, each sensitive element is arranged in the form of a lengthy cable section with insulation from an elastic piezoelectric material, and each electronic unit is connected to the power supply cable and comprises the following serially joined components arranged on the flexible circuit board: a low noise amplifier, an analogue-to-digital converter and a unit of information preparation and transfer, besides, inputs of low noise amplifiers are connected with appropriate outputs of sensitive elements, and outputs of information preparation and transfer units are connected with a communication cable. The antenna is arranged in the form of a flat cable stretching via several floats of oval shape, which alight the flat part of the cable in vertical direction and are partially filled with a heavy fluid with density of more than 1.0 g/cm3, the power element is made in the form of two cables or strong threads, or glass plastic or aramid plastic bars with a polymer coating.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to produce an even signal along the entire area of a sensitive element facing a located source of noise, and an antenna comprising several flat cables makes it possible to find location of a noise source along a vertical line.
