FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: thermoelectric generator contains a thermoelectric converter (TC), the TC "hot" contacts heater and a system of the TC "cold" contacts air cooling, an upward channel for extraction of hot gases from the heater and a system of the TC "cold" contacts air cooling designed in the form of a cooling air duct. The cooling air duct inlet is open for ambient air while the outlet is put out into a channel for extraction of hot gases, such as a chimney, or into the furnace. The heater is a hot chimney.
EFFECT: thermoelectric generator efficiency improvement through forced cooling without energy costs.
