FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: mulching composition is characterised by that it contains lignosulphonate, carbamide, NA-carboxymethyl cellulose, potassium chloride and, as natural additives, Moerckia moss and Juniperus virginiana 'Springbank' juniper needles, and water in the following ratios, wt %: lignosulphonate 0.1-0.4, carbamide 0.2-0.6, NA-carboxymethyl cellulose 0.3-0.4, potassium chloride 1-3, Moerckia moss 10-15, Juniperus virginiana 'Springbank' juniper needles 8-9, and water - the balance. Other versions of the mulching composition have different content (wt %) of moss and juniper needles.

EFFECT: enabling use of natural materials which can be combined with different types of synthetic polymer materials and wastes thereof if they are not harmful to the environment.
