FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises the following operations. Measuring actual controlled parameters of the engine. Calculating preset magnitude of said parameters from engine inlet air temperature and engine control lever position. Comparing preset and actual magnitudes of controlled parameter. Adjusting fuel consumption signal for engine steady-state conditions derived from comparison. Note here that, additionally, engine inlet air temperature and engine control lever position and, at least, one parameter describing aircraft aerodynamics, are used to set fuel consumption for acceleration conditions to be compared with that for steady-state conditions. In case fuel consumption in steady-state smaller than that in acceleration, fuel feed is controlled by this parameter. Otherwise, fuel feed is changed over to parameter for acceleration mode.

EFFECT: efficient control, longer life of gas turbine engine assembly units.
