FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: gas turbine axial compressor wheel comprises disc with thrust ledge and connection elements, vanes with butts, means for closure of gaps and means for axial fixation of vanes in dovetail lock joint. Connection elements are arranged along disc circle and composed of disc thrust surface and two lateral contact faces. Contact faces are directed along planes inclined in opposite direction relative to disc lengthwise surface. Outline of thrust surface and lateral contact faces follow inner outline of disc connection elements. Angular connections between thrust surface and disc connection element lateral contact faces are rounded to radius. Vane butt lateral contact faces are chamfered by chord smaller that fillet radius. Said means for axial fixation is composed of split ring and cutouts for the latter in disc thrust ledge and vane butt. Split ring is fitted in said cutout to make lock joint. Fillet and chamfer radii are selected to ensure maximum basic strength. Said means for closure of gaps is composed of element tightly abutting the disc on thrust ledge side.

EFFECT: decreased wheel weight gas flow via lock joint gaps, higher reliability.
