SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of transmitting data in a wireless network which involves generating a packet of data having a connection identification (CID) indicating a connection to a final destination for the packet of data. The desired route for transmitting the packet of data to the final destination is determined, said route including one or more relay stations. The generated packet of data is encapsulated in one or more capsules, each capsule having a CID indicating a connection to one or more relay stations along the desired route. The packet of data is sent along the desired route using multiple CIDs of the one or more capsules and the packet of data so as to arrive at the final destination. At each of the one or more relay stations, an outermost capsule having a CID corresponding to the present relay station is stripped from the packet of data.
EFFECT: providing reliable network access in a wider coverage area while maximising efficiency of the operating frequency range.
