FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and may be used in making complicated-shape parts, e.g. frames and carcasses. At first stage, sheet blank with opening is placed on female die to fold side to female die while, at second stage, female die is replaced by male die to squeeze made wall to male die. Note here that folding and squeezing are carried out by irregular pulsed magnetic field to create higher pressure at sheet blank opening edge side.
EFFECT: higher quality, reduced labor input.
