FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric welding. Proposed device comprises, at least, two contact clamps 31 with contact zone 32 for making contacts of welding wire 13. Contact clamps 31 have retention zone 48 located opposite contact zone 32 and are fitted in sleeve 37 to move around rotational axle 43. Sleeve 37 is secured at welding torch tip 38 integrated with pressure mechanism 36 designed to apply pressing force to contact clamps 31. Sleeve 37 has retainer 42. Two contact sections 47 with sleeve retainer 37 are arranged on every clamp 31 on the side of ends of rotational axle 43. Ledge 46 located in plane parallel to said rotational axle 31 is arranged on end surface 45 of retention zone of every clamp 31. Pressure mechanism 36 applies compression force in axial direction 33 to be converted by reaction force of retainer 42 into radial force of contact pressure 35.
EFFECT: permanent closure of welding wire contacts during all service life.
