FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Proportioned amounts of blend components are filled in mixer and preset amount of water is added thereto. Said blend and water are mixed and sampled to prepare a specimen and to measure mix moisture content for it to be corrected for batch control purposes. Mixing is carried out by rotating plates and swirling heads to make mix suspension. Sampling is performed by feeding and extruding mix portion from mixer bowl into sleeve by rotary gate to preset density.
EFFECT: stabilised moisture content, compressibility and mix properties.
