FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary medicine. A method of prevention and therapy of balanoposthitis and an adnexal gland pathology in stud bulls consists in twice subcutaneous introduction of a testis extract filtrate 0.1-0.2 ml per 1 kg of body weight prepared as follows: testes of healthy bulls are kept for 6-7-days at 2-4°C, minced and placed in a homogeniser; the homogenate is filled with saline solution in ratio 1:5, placed in a refrigerator for extraction at 2-4°C for 24 hours and then filtered through gauze, gently pressing, and additionally through a filter or a filter paper, or a multi-layer filter; the filtrate is stabilised in mannitol at the rate of 2 g per 100 ml, packed and sterilised, and for prevention, the filtrate extract is administered in two stages - the first stage - 10 days before a breeding period, the second stage - within the first 3 days after the breeding period.
EFFECT: invention provides specific action on the reproductive organs and activation of the factors of their local microbial protection.
